Pancho Amat
Francisco Pancho Amat (Cuba, 1950), is a Cuban musician specialized in tres, a plucked instrument. He founded the group Manguaré in 1971 and elevated tres-playing to a new level by applying theory and technique gleaned from jazz. Actually, he is the band leader of "El cabildo del son".
